The Eurof Davies Memorial Cup
This trophy was awarded to the Union in 1962 by Mrs CM Davies in memory of her late husband Mr Eurof Davies, Management Committee member for 14 years including 4 a s Secretary. It was awarded each year to the team scoring the most points in 18 League games. It also came to an end with the introduction of the WRU Competitions in 1993-94. In its first year, Pontyberem were the winners with 214 points, while Trebanos claimed it in the last season with 518 points.
The best performance by a Club during its history was by Pontarddulais who won it on no less than six occasions scoring a total of 1638 points. But Glynneath, who won it on three occasions between 1987 and 1992 scoring 1850 points, must take pride of place as being the only team to score more than six hundred points in a season (They did it on two occasions) (In 1971 a try became 4 points and in 1992 it became 5 points)
